When you create an account, we collect your name and email address. When you play, we store your scores (distance, points, time) linked to your account. Guest players have no data stored server-side.
Your data is used solely to display your scores on the leaderboard and in your profile. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties.
We use browser local storage to save sound preferences and guest scores. No third-party tracking cookies are used.
PinGuessr uses Appwrite for authentication and data storage, and Mapbox for map rendering. These services have their own privacy policies. Event data is sourced from Wikidata.
You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at contact@pinguessr.com.
We may update this policy occasionally. Continued use of PinGuessr after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
